lapsang souchong
today at work i found a box of lapsang souchong tea, so i made myself a cup (styrofoam glassful). the taste and smell of it reminded me distinctly of a campfire, in a good way. according to some random website, lapsang souchong is "distinctly smoky flavored" version of souchong, which is a high grade of chinese tea. all i know is that i liked it. stash tea has another description of it, and is particularly funny, mostly because of its name. indeed, when i was talking about it with drew today i commented that it reminded me of scotch, in a way. it occurs to me that i know little to nothing about tea, and i'd like to know more, whether through wisdom imparted from douglas adams, or via "stash tea."
