i don't want to be seen as a pretty thing;
it's the pretty things we're always breaking

the terminal

though this movie was rather bland, i found myself laughing quite a bit throughout it. i don’t recommend seeing it in the theater (it is unfocused, and the “love interest” is not at all interesting), but it was funny enough to be worth renting, if you like the whole unchallenging/feel-good comedy thing (i hesitate to even include the word “romantic” in my classification of the movie).

note for people interested in film: the “Stuck in Mellowville” comment over at IMDB is actually pretty interesting.

bunny movies

i just saw the newest film with bunnies today, and this time, it’s a rendition of titanic. it’s not as good as the shining or the exorcist, but i think that’s because the source movie isn’t as distinctive/interesting. they say the next film they’ll do is horror/sci-fi: my bet is on alien, though we may have an event horizon coming our way, which would be awesome.

update: i called it.
