bulletproof monk

this movie is really bad. some of it is bad enough to be good (or at least amusing), some of it is too mediocre to be good on its own merits, or to be good through its brilliant awfulness. i was hoping a comedy might balance out the malaise instilled by mystic river, but where as that movie was well crafted, this movie was not. ah well.
